Bond Finally Gets Another Oscar (with some help from Adele)

A couple of weeks ago approximately 40.3 million people tuned in to watch the 85th Academy Awards or ‘The Oscars’ and favourites to win Best Original Song were Adele Adkins and her co-writer and producer Paul Epworth, who did not disappoint on the night, winning the award for Skyfall – the 23rd Bond theme.

This is the first Oscar a Bond film has won in 47 years, the last one being in 1965 when Thunderball picked up the sound effects award.  Skyfall, the most recent film in the huge Bond franchise which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, was also joint winner in the sound editing category.

Seeing as Adele obviously now has strong links with the spy industry, there may well be a number of Spycatcher products that she would find useful, particularly following the recent birth of her first child.

As the parent of a young son, she will no doubt want to keep a close eye on him, even if she is out and glamming it up at the Oscars.  If she owned one of our hidden spy cameras, which are very well disguised wireless cameras hidden in everyday objects including clocks, smoke detectors and even cigarette lighters (yes, Adele is a smoker), it would be easy to watch over him on a secure internet link or even on a mobile phone.

Secondly, Adele and her partner Simon Konecki have always said they wanted to bring their son up out of the limelight, so to make sure no gossip leaks out they may want to check our counter surveillance section where there are plenty of bug detectors and scanners to make sure her family life is kept as private as she wants it.
