This is an ordinary smoke detector for fitting on the ceiling which looks completely normal but is in fact a dummy unit which houses a  full colour camera and microphone.No-one would ever suspect that this is anything other than a standard smoke detector.

The camera is fitted so that  it looks down on the room at an angle rather than straight down and the system is supplied with a matching receiver and two 110-240v AC power supplies to power both the camera and the receiver. Alternatively the camera could be powered by a 9 volt PP3 battery.

The supplied receiver is then connected to a compatible monitor for realtime viewing or a matching recorder for later viewing.

This is a low power system that will achieve a range of up to 60 metres.
