This revolutionary miniature digital voice recorder is intended for the professional recording of voice messages into the flash memory. Unbelievably small, only 39 x 16 x 9mm's, this unit has a record time of up to 18.6 hours (depending on model), very low power consumption,a wide frequency range (100 - 10,000Hz),wide dynamic range and a highly sensitive built-in microphone.
A built-in real time clock and a calender are provided, allowing the facility to start recordings at pre-set times. Due to the absence of moving parts, the Mini functions in a wide temperature range and under vibration and dusty conditions. This also means that the Mini makes no sounds whatsoever so as to avoid detection.
This recorder can run on Lithium batteries that can record for up to 10 hours or Zinc Air batteries that can record for up to 60 hours, within their time limit.
The Mini can be connected to the PC via the USB port with the cable supplied. The software provided works with WINDOWS 2000/XP OS making it possible to:
1) Save recorded messages as standard sound files.
2) Set the recording parameters.
3) Use the recorder as a flash-disc of 128MB as well as to store and transfer files.
The Mini has a voice activation system (VAS) which effectively compresses pauses in recordings, therefore increasing the actual record time. Using this system saves memory during pauses, but the time intervals remain. When downloading recordings to your PC, the pause length can either be restored (as silence) or deleted depending on the setting.
The Mini can can act as a flash-disc, which enables storing and transferring any data on it.
The recording mode can be started and stopped at pre-set times.
In order to secure data, a password entry mode can be set to prevent unauthorised access.
Every recording made is marked with a recording start time and date, and has a digital signature to define the unit that was used to make the recording.
