This is a 5 x magnification version of our very newest range of 1st generation waterproof night vision units that we have introduced to the market. It's the Ranger 5 and it's incredibly impressive.

The unit is supplied in a slip-free rubber-armoured housing with a 5 times magnification lens enabling night time viewing at 200 - 400 metres. At the units' outer range it has a field of view of approximately 40 metres.It comes with  an integrated infra-red illuminator which will allow you to see clearly, even in zero light conditions. The unit has both front and rear focussing adjustment which provides razor sharp images within the specified viewing parameters.

Unlike most other night vision units that use plastic gaskets, the Ranger is fitted with aircraft-grade Aluminium gaskets between the main housing and the lenses to prevent dust and water penetration and enhance durability. The unit will operate at temperatures ranging from -20 degrees and +40 degrees Centigrade.

Powered by 1 CR123A 3v. Battery (Supplied) which will give a minimum of 50 hours of use
