This is our very latest level 111A Bullet Proof Jacket designed specifically for the press when operating in hostile territory. Whilst this is one of the lightest vests on the market it still offers excellent all round protection.  It is certified to NIJ level IIIa which will stop .44 magnum and all lesser rounds.  There are front and rear pockets on this jacket for inserting hard armour, either ceramic or famostone, to increase the protection level, please see these items on our website for more  information.

The "Press" jacket is dark blue in colour and can be offered with ‘Press’ removeable, reflective labels for the front and rear.   It can also be supplied in "Desert tan" colour. The jacket also has external pockets for housing film, batteries and cellular phones, and comes with neck and groin protection. 

The latest addition to this jacket provides protection to the upper arms which is important in preventing projectiles travelling through the upper arm into the body. We are not aware of any other jackets that offer this extra protection.
