This is a top of the range, hand made, unit designed for either professional or domestic users.

When sound waves hit a solid body, such as a wall, door or  window the waves start to vibrate. These slight vibrations are absorbed and amplified by this units transducer, allowing them to be heard by the user through the earpieces supplied. Even the slightest vibrations become audible as they are magnified by up to 40,000 times.

The equipment is powered by 4 x AAA batteries (supplied) and has a seperate socket should you wish to record any sounds that are picked up.

Conversations can be heard through walls of up to 50 cms.

Please note that it is not possible to hear anything through wallls which have a cavity in them.
