This is a unique infra-red night viewing unit that differs from all other  night vision in ways that make it absolutely ideal for hikers, nature enthusiasts, hunters, and search and rescue.

Unlike any other system  the DV has a 3.5"  diagonal high 500 line resolution TFT  LED display. The image is seen in black and white rather than the green image normally seen through normal night vision and does not have to be held up to the eye for viewing. It's rather like viewing a small television screen.

This unit has 32 step brightness control so that the image can be adjusted to suit ambient light conditions and is powered by eight standard AA batteries. It can also be powered by a Nickel Metal Hydride battery pack.

The lens is multi-element coated, 1.2 x magnification, c-mount which allows for other lenses to be added.

The system comes with a video out socket which allows it to be plugged in to a video camera or recorder for real-time recording in low light conditions and it is also supplied with a neck strap.
