This is an industry leading night vision rifle scope which is far superior to any we have stocked before. Using the very latest developments in the field of both optics and electronics this scope gives options to the user which have never been available in the past not only allowing it to be tuned precisely to the users needs but offering the same operational functions during both day and night time.
This scope utilises an extremely sensitive CCD array (with a range of operation illumination of 0.00003 - 30000 lux) whose image is transferred to an amazing 640x480x3 VGA display. This scope also, automatically, adjusts the CCD array sensitivity under low light conditions.
The digital night vision VGA screen also shows useful information such as running time, low battery and operation mode. There is also a number of switchable, pre-loaded, reticules which can be turned on or off as and when required and can also be inverted from black to white and vice versa depending on target colour and illumination.
This night vision rifle scope also has a built in IR illuminator which can be used in extremely low light conditions. The weaver rail on the side of the body is for attaching the optional more powerful IR illuminator - which is also included in this package.
There is also a remote control for the basic functions and a protective carry case. This package also comes with a set of 4 x AA rechargeable batteries and mains charger and a video cable for simple connection to a video recorder.
The scope can be "Zeroed" in either the traditional way or by using the "One shot zeroing" method making the procedure significantly faster and more convenient. The unit also has "Sum light" fitted which activates an enhanced sensitivity algorithm for operation in very low light/total darkness conditions.
The standard weaver rail mounting means that the night vision rifle scope can be mounted on a wide range of hunting weapons, including large calibre as it also has a guaranteed shock resistance for cartridges with a muzzle velocity of under 6000 joules.
