COUNTER-SURVEILLANCE SWEEPS

Our counter-surveillance team regularly carries out sweeps for a number of the UK’s top companies, including a number of the FT top 1000.

This is not a job for amateurs and any work that we undertake is carried out by a team of highly trained professionals with many years of experience. The work can be carried out either during, or outside of, normal office hours, whichever best suits our client. We usually find that doing this work outside of office hours is more convenient for all concerned.
 

For homes and small offices one of the products shown in our “Counter-surveillance” category will often suffice, but for larger office premises a full team is usually necessary.

After the test has been completed we will give an immediate verbal report. A full written report follows a short time after. Apart from reporting on our findings we will also comment on obvious security shortcomings of the premises inspected.

We use advanced detection and location equipment, combining them in overlapping search patterns to provide maximum effectiveness. Our equipment procedures are optimized to identify active and passive technical surveillance devices (Bugs) such as radio controlled transmitters.

Internal Radio Emission Monitoring.

An internal discreet inspection of the risk area is made employing covert radio monitoring techniques.

Detection of GSM/GPS surveillance and Tracking Devices.

Modified GSM telephones modules can now be used to relay room audio to anywhere in the world. We carry out a range of sophisticated tests to locate any such devices.

Telephone and Communications System Analysis.

We carry out a close analytical inspection and electronic testing of the telephone system using specialist equipment. Our tests will detect any wired interception or transmission device connected, either live or dormant.

Electronic Analysis of Cable and Wiring.

A close inspection of power cables and utility wiring is carried out.

Electronic Structural Examination.

A non-Linear junction detector is used to identify devices which may be concealed within furnishings and other items. This search also helps to detect remotely activated units not necessarily operating at the time of the sweep.

Physical Search.

An intensive close physical inspection is undertaken of all areas and equipment, including telephone wiring, power sockets, light switches and room furnishings.
