This Mercedes 560SEL limousine was stretched in the 90's by Hooper & Co. of Mayfair, coachbuilders to the Royal family for hundreds of years, and then armoured by one of the largest armouring companies in the world.

The vehicle has been in the possession of an Embassy in the UK and has been used very rarely for visiting leaders and dignatries of that Country and therefore has an extremly low mileage of 12,000 miles.  The finish throughout is of the highest quality and the vehicle is in pristine condition.  The car is finished in Blue Black with alpaca grey napa leather upholstery and has every conceivable option fitted.

The complete passenger compartment, including the glazed areas, offers protection to level B6 which will stop ammunition up to and including 7.62mm Nato ball (AK47) and 5.56mm SS109 steel core (M16) rounds, both at 90 degrees at point blank range.  The roof also offers protection from the same rounds but at 60 degrees and 30m range. The floor has a steel plate that offers protection from L2A2 hand grenades and anti-personel mines of up to 2Kg.

The tyres, including the spare, have been replaced with specially armoured tyres.The front radiator grills have been replaced with 3mm steel to increase protection to the radiator/oil cooler system.
